Volunteering
Join the Yateley 10k Race Series team!
The Yateley 10k Race Series wouldn’t be possible without the amazing volunteers who help make each race a success! From start to finish, your support is what keeps the event running smoothly and creates a fantastic experience for everyone involved.
Volunteer opportunities:
There are so many ways you can get involved and make a difference – whether it’s cheering on participants, marshaling, car parking or helping out with the fun run, your help is crucial!
As always, we need an army of volunteers to set up and dismantle the start/finish area during the day and volunteers for during and after the race. We need road marshals, junior run marshals, car park attendants and people to supervise runners at Sean Devereux Park.
We need volunteers from midday for a couple of hours to help set up. (Free lunch included!) Or maybe you are available from early evening to help out? There are even jobs available for those of you who want to run the race too, before or after the race. So, if you are free and able to help on the above dates, we would love to hear from you, or even your friends and family.
It is widely considered to be the best mid-week series in the south of England and its success and the reputation of the club are mainly due to the efficiency and good humour of our volunteers. So, if you have helped before and would like to do so again, or if you’ve never helped before but feel this is the right time for you, please contact us at yateleyroadracevolunteers@gmail.com. Please let us know your availability for each date and times/hours you are available.
