Village Hall Car Park

  • Distance to start: 0.95 km, about 10-12 minutes’ walk
  • 50 spaces, A convenient spot with easy access to the village hall. It’s a little further from the main locations but offers a spacious parking option.

Leave the Village Hall car park to the right of the Men’s Shed, and head through the wooded area onto Yateley Green. Walk directly across the field towards Reading Road towards a gap in the hedge.
Cross Reading Road and go through the gap in bushes onto Vicarage Road before going onto Vicarage Lane. Turn right at the end of Vicarage Lane onto Chandlers Lane. The entrance to Sean Devereux Park is on the left after about 50m.

Yateley Manor School

  • Distance from Destination: 1.4 km, about 16 minutes’ walk
  • An alternative with a shorter walk to key spots in Yateley. This location offers a more direct route if you’re heading into town or to nearby areas.

On exiting from Yateley Manor School onto Reading Road, turn left and continue past the Dog and Partridge pub. Cross at the traffic lights and continue past the White Lion pub.
Cross the road at the roundabout and continue along (the paved) Reading Road (or unpaved Vicarage Road). There is a gap through the bushes, crossing Vicarage Road and into Vicarage Lane. Go along Vicarage Lane to the end and turn right onto Chandlers Lane. The entrance to Sean Devereux Park is on the left after about 50m.

Yateley Secondary School

  • A-Block only, the school field will not be available.
  • Distance from Destination: 1.5 km, about 15-20 minutes’ walk
  • If you’re willing to walk a bit further, this is another good option for parking. It’s a larger area, though it may require a longer walk to central locations.

Head out from Yateley School and turn right onto School Lane and continue to the end of the road. Cross Firgrove Road and pass through low railings onto Yateley Green.
Walk across the field in the direction of the pond (about 30 degrees to Firgrove Road). Pass through the gap in the trees and head across to The Tythings. Go through the car park and take care crossing Reading Road to pass through a gap in the trees onto Vicarage Road and then cross onto Chandlers Lane.
Continue down (the unpaved) Chandlers Lane for about 400m with the entrance to Sean Devereux Park on the left.

St. Swithuns Church

  • Distance from Destination: 1.2 km, about 13-16 minutes’ walk
  • 50 spaces. Although closer than Yateley School there are fewer parking spaces available.

From the car park head right on Firgrove Road. Cross over onto Macrae Road (opposite the entrance to Hurst Lodge School) and continue until a left turn onto Old School Lane. Follow the road round in the direction of the Village Hall.
Head through the wooded area onto Yateley Green. Walk directly across the field to Reading Road toward a gap in the hedge.

Yateley Plough Road

• Location: Plough Road, Yateley, Hampshire GU46 7TN

• Distance from start: 1.6 km, about 20 minutes walk

• Approx. 60 spaces. An alternative with a shorter walk to key spots in Yateley. This location offers a more direct route if you’re heading into town or to nearby areas.

Exit the car park across Plough Road onto Reading Road, turn right and continue past Yateley Manor School, the Dog and Partridge pub. Cross at the traffic lights and continue past the White Lion pub.
