The course
Yateley 10k route
The course follows a one-lap route around the town of Yateley in north-east Hampshire, about half-way between Reading and Guildford.
The route starts by the Yateley FC clubhouse and heads out of Sean Devereux Park and left along Mill Lane, past Horseshoe Lake and onto Lower Sandhurst Road up toward Finchampstead with an out-and-back along Dell Road (turning just before it goes uphill) and a short climb up Cricket Hill before turning left and heading down Longwater Road. The water station will be positioned on the grass verge about 150m down Longwater Road.
Turn left onto Reading Road until reaching Moulsham Copse Lane and then onto Moulsham Lane with Vicarage Road and Chandlers Lane as the final stretch before re-entering the Park to the finish line.

This was a new route for 2025 starting and finishing at Sean Devereux Park and taking advantage of the facilities available at the Yateley FC clubhouse. We had great feedback from our 2025 entrants and are keeping the course the same for the 2026 series.
There are full and partial road closures planned for Chandlers Lane, Mill Lane, Lower Sandhurst Road, Longwater Road and Reading Road to ensure runner safety with details posted to social media channels as the grants and permits change.
