Runners ware be allowed to transfer their numbers up until 8pm on the Night before the race. To do a transfer the athlete that bought the number must:
The new entrant details will then be transferred directly within the system. However, please be aware that depending on when you complete a transfer the numbers may have already been packed. Therefore the name of the original buyer may well still be on the number so please remember to pick up the number with the correct name on it. PLEASE REMEMBER THERE WILL BE NO NUMBER TRANSFERS ON THE NIGHT These Number exchange detail updates are important as:- 1. If you are injured, or worse, during the race, we do not know who you are and who your emergency contact is. This means we cant get hold of people you know and we will ring the original Emergency contact saying you have been taken ill etc, etc. 2. If someone runs in your number it can cause issues with results - If you are a senior male running in a number allocated to a 74-year-old woman and it suddenly looks like a world record has been set. |

Race Prize categories: 1st Corporate Team Winners Series Corporate Challenge Winners Fun Run U11 Girls and Boys - 1st U13 Boys and Girls - 1st U16 Girls and Boys 1st |
|
Why is there only one |
Due to the quantity of entrants in some of the categories, there is no real competition and therefore no further prizes. This is reviewed annually and if the quantity increases then we will introduce prizes. |
|
How do you calculate |
For each race, entrants are awarded points, from 20 down to 1, within their category. These are added up and after three races the entrants with the best total points in their category win prizes. In the event that the points are tied, the entrant with the better total time over the three races is awarded a prize over those with inferior times. If total points and times are equal, the criterion is which entrant beat the other more often over the three races. If they tie after that, a coin will be tossed to determine the winner. |

|

What's the history of these races? |
Yateley, Hampshire, has been home to a mid-week 10K series since around 1987. We believe that the first races were the Yateley half-marathons, held in the summers of 1980-83. After that they became converted to a series of three 10K races, held at 7:30 in the evening on the first Wednesday of June, July and August at Frogmore Campus on a now-defunct course. |
